OUR STORY
Most painting companies are great at one of two things: the work, or the customer. We built Deseret Painting to be great at both.
Wilmar Lopez has spent 20 years painting homes and commercial projects, earning a reputation for quality finishes and for delivering projects when he says he will. Pedro Garrido has spent 25 years serving clients in Europe, Latin America and the United States, and built a remarkable real estate career here in Utah, working closely with homeowners and home builders.
When they joined forces, the goal was simple: be the painting partner contractors, builders and property managers can count on, and the painter homeowners recommend to their own families. Skilled crews, clear bids, honest communication, and a job site left cleaner than we found it.
Our name honors the spirit of Utah: Deseret has long stood for hard work and building something that lasts. That’s the standard we hold ourselves to on every wall, every home and every project.

With 20 years in residential and commercial painting, Wilmar knows the craft from the ground up. He leads every crew and every job site, setting the standard for preparation, finish quality and schedule.
Builders and homeowners trust him for the same reason: he does what he says, when he says, and he doesn’t call a job done until every detail is right.
Pedro Garrido
CO-FOUNDER & DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Pedro brings 25 years of client service experience across Europe, Latin America and the United States, and a recognized career in Utah real estate. He leads sales, marketing and strategy at Deseret Painting.
